Calculation logic
Each package is amortised separately using its loan amount, rate, tenure and extra payment. The calculator then compares total interest and monthly payment.

Example: compare a 3.8% package against a 4.1% package, or test whether extra monthly payment meaningfully reduces total interest.
Assumptions
Before using the number
- The comparison focuses on instalment and interest, not approval chance.
- Fees, lock-in periods, MRTA or MLTA and flexibility terms should be checked separately.
- Lower total interest is a calculation result, not a package recommendation, especially when loan amounts or tenures differ.
Interpretation
How to use the result
- Compare like with like: the same loan amount and remaining objective make the result easier to interpret.
- Lower total interest does not automatically mean the package is better once fees, lock-in and flexibility are considered.
- Use extra-payment scenarios only when that payment is realistic and sustainable.
